Paul Bryan Jr.: I got a feeling

Born 1944 in Pasedena, California. His hyper-realistic art was inspired by the simplicity of Oriental art paired with his love of Western pop culture. His work ranges from paintings of celebrities in their youth to playing cards, but most are two-tone portraits, all punctuated by his signature red dot. A former punk rock singer, Bryan has sailed the Bermuda Triangle, joined a band of cave-dwelling gypsies in Grenada, sought the Oracle of Delphi, and has personally presented portraits to Peter Fonda, Madonna, Bob Dylan, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Pope Benedict XVI among others.
